Sociable is driven by a pretty simple vision.  Cider should be much more than the lightly-alcoholic, made-from-concentrate, sweet apple juice boxes that currently dominate the shelf space.  Sociable ciders are well carbonated, dry and always made from real apples.  Simply put, they should be enjoyed like great draught beer. Sociable is not just hard cider, we’re much more.

It all Started in the Garage

Jim and Wade started Sociable Cider like a lot of small businesses, in the garage.  The long time friends and former roommates would often dream of hanging up their ties & retiring their face razors to take a crack at the American Dream.  The Sociable Cider Werks business plan was conceived by two pretty likely culprits: loads of test batches and an 8,000 mile road-trip though the country’s cideries, breweries and distilleries.  A short time later our little cider house was born right here in Nordeast Minneapolis.
